Euphoriant: a rondel

Euphoriant: a Rondel

I saw a wasp just yesterday
near last year's nest that cleaves though torn apart,
its comb exposed, the nest's heart,
gray paper layers peeled away.

It must be empty now. It lay
like some cross sectioned textbook art.
I saw a wasp just yesterday
near last year's nest that cleaves though torn apart.

Are wasps a sign of spring? I say
they are. Why not? let wasp impart
a lesson of endurance. Start
near last year's nest that cleaves though torn apart.
I saw a wasp just yesterday.
